[Resolved] inserting a <br> into a string...

every 30 characters I would like to insert a <br>. This is what I have:

$number = strlen($text)/30;
explode ();
$i = 0;
while ($i < $number) {
print $text[$i] ."<br>";
$i++;
}

As you can see I dont know what to put into the explode statement.
***** Also I dont know how to use the string length function. I think I'm doing it right but I'm not sure.
Please help!

Seems like the long way of doing a [man]wordwrap[/man]

actually its not working at all!
I cant get it to cut off more than 8 characters and it does all the strings not just the one I'm tageting!

Code:

$newreview = wordwrap($review, 80, '<br />');
