Help?

We have put up a php 4.3.3 forum. Yesterday, the server hosting the forum went down for 18 minutes. When it came back, something occured to make our board read the time incorrectly, it actually is reading the time 12 hours and 18 minutes BEFORE the correct time, and so when we try to post, we get a message saying we cannot post so soon, as in reality we are trying to post before our last posts. Does this make sense?
Anyways, if anyone has an ideas to correct this?

Have you checked the time on the server? That's where php usually pulls it's date/time from

We have sent of countless emails to the server, and hope someone there reads them soon. I just thought if there was some way to change it in the forum and we were missing it I would ask here. I do thank you again for your help, and want to leave you with a word of encouragement.
I know you don't do this for pay, but if one could adequately express the joy when their "tools" work because of your advice, that joy is priceless 🙂

If you have shell access to the server, you could check that yourself, just to make sure that's the cause. You may also have access to change it...
I'm sure there's a way to make it work by hacking the forum ahead the specified amount of time, but you really shouldn't have or want to do that. I also couldn't tell you how to do that without seeing their method of getting time, which is usually just done with a call to [man]time[/man]).
