hmmmm welll I emailed my web hoster ( also my ISP ) and this is what my web space can do
- Perl
- FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions
- Server Side Includes (SSI)
- Active Server Pages (ASP)
- Sendmail
- FormMail
- .htaccess files
- Flat-file (plain-ASCII) databases
- Access logging
The following features, including XML are unsupported:
- Webspace statistics (log analysis)
- Customer-requested data restores
- Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
- Anonymous FTP
- FTP user accounts
- Telnet or Secure Shell (SSH) access
- Non-flat-file databases (e.g. mySQL, Microsoft Access, ODBC)
- Java Servlets, PHP, XML, Cold Fusion, eperl, XSSI, Python, tcl
- Error logging
I was wondering it says .htaccess files in there can i edit one and stick it in so my XML will be output as text/xml and not text/plain? Or is there some other reason its not working?
If i can fix this problem what would i put in my htaccess file?
