a user checks the box "I Agree with the Legal ..."
or another box, or may be 2,3 etc.

If he does not check the box, the button is impossible to p[ress.

That is something you would do with Javascript. In PHP you woud check after the form had been submitted to the server.

  // Box ticked
}else{
  // Box not ticked

Also the submit button would never be 'impossible' to click since the user can simply turn of Javascript 😉

Well, since the page would initially load with the button disabled, if Javascript is disabled then the button couldn't be enabled if the checkbox is checked. Of course, that doesn't stop you clicking on a disabled button - it just wouldn't do anything.

How do you disable a submit button without Javascript? AFAIK there are no inherent HTML properties to do that 😉

I guess you could have the button hidden by CSS until the relevant checkbox is checked 🙂

Heh I gave it a go just to be sure and IE/NS didn't acknowledge the disabled attribute 🙂
