[Resolved] Help with calling individual pages from DB

I am having problems with one tiny wee thing :

I want to beable to use the same page to display different content depending on what the user wishes to view.

So far I have the variable $showid as the variable to call the pages from the DB (mysql).

I know roughly how the theory works - I jusst seem unable to put this into practise.

I want it to look like :

index.php?showid=2

and for it to display the second record in the database.

Can you help me on making the $showid change when I click on the link index.php?showid=3.
