hello to all cronjob guru

Hi im new in cronjob ! and i have a few questions

1. ill be running a script that will send email into a multiple email address (filename is mailcron.php)

2. What folder will i upload this? is it cgi-bin?

3. cronjob is asking me what "Command to Run" is it mailcron.php or it has specific commands to run before running mailcron.php?

Yuo can put the file anywhere. But also make sure you've compiled php with command line support. Then in cron, for the command just put: /exact_path_to/php_command /exact_path_to/filename.php

what kind of command? its says in manual i have to upload a file extension is txt and upload it as ASCII type 🙁 im a little bit confuse ..
its already dawn here and havent sleep yet.

using the lynx text browser might work, it does okay on our config

• lynx --dump http://url.script.php > /dev/null
