considering that most of the traffic on our site comes from google i'm ultra surprised as clicking through here gives me an indication that people just don't know how to use a search engine!

i've done it tho, been to a forum and asked a question, spent five minutes waiting for a response then googled off and got the answer myself.

it does annoy me though when i see a post like "can i do this" then five minutes later another that says "well can i, anyone gonna answer"

maybe it's just the state of the world today, oh my god it sounds as though i've turned into my father at only 28.....

I don't see any surge in ignorance. There's always been a high amount of it...

Doesn't get to me too much anymore. I just don't like it when you point it out to them, and they come back with "Don't blame me! I'm a newbie!".

Ignorance will never go away! Good thing there are people like us to tell the ignorant people that they should maybe use their frickin brains instead of sitting on the street corner asking for handouts!
