How can you stop people dowble clicking a submit button? so u dont get the same message posted a milliion time if they keep clicking it...
usually when they click the submit button u process the input of the form and head somewhere else so they cant click it again
Yeh, they do, but if they click it while its loading to go to the next page it will repeat the add entry...
One way to handle this is to have a hidden field in the form that contains a unique ID. When you process the form, store that ID in your database. If that ID is already in the database, you know it's a double submit and shouldn't do anything.
