Hi,

I wont to write commercial application ("extension" for PHP) but part of this application was Zend Engine. Can I use Zend Engine in commercial non open source application?

Why aren't you using PHP's own copy of the engine?

I must use Zend Engine source in my application (only Zend Engine - I don't need rest of PHP source). But I understand Zend License (I have problem with "law english"🙁 ). So I asking - can I use source of Zend Engin in my Commercial non open source application?

Redistribution and use in source and binary forms, with or without modification, is permitted provided that the following conditions are met:

Where the conditions are basically that you have to include a copy of the license (which applies only to the Zend part).

Seems pretty straightforward to me. (Incidentally, Zend itself uses the Zend engine in commercial closed-source applications. Of course, Zend is a special case.)

You said you were writing a "PHP extension"; that's why I was wondering why you weren't already using the copy of Zend that's there.

Becouse my application was in 2 parts - extension (dll or so - using PHP and Zend Engin from server) and application (use self copy of Zend Engine).
