Resize picture sent

Ok i am going to try to explain this alittle better. I want to send a picture by having the user select from a drop down what size they want the picture to be and send it to there email. But i dont want to do anything to the original picture, or save the the new one. I already have a template php code in place, i want somthing to place in there to resize it and send it to them.

the width and height are what i need to change with a drop drown. i.e.

<option value="0x0">Do not resize image</option>
<option value="120x98">Small Size</option>
</select>
Can some one help me out here
