need help creating an admin section

need help creating an admin for an e-commerce web site,
any suggestions on how i could go about creating this?

i know what the admin side is going to do and i know how its going to be designed i just
need help with the php and mysql coding to put together this administration section.

can anyone help me through this?

i would have to update all the information in the e-commerce website.
how would you create the pages to update the information?

many suggestions about how to go about doing this would be of great help

RichieVC summed it up pretty well there (see 2nd link).

Divide and conquer is the typical mantra for coding/programming. Divide the problem up into little bits and solve each little bit individually. Then put them together and they'll solve the overall problem.

"administration section" is a pretty big problem so divide it up into little bits. Then you may have to divide those bits up into even smaller bits. Keep doing this until you: can't divide the problem up any more or you can't figure out how to write the code to solve the super tiny problem.

i know exactly what i have to do with the admin section and what pages have to go into it, i am still new with php and mysql and need help with the coding part of the admin section. i need help with updating the information on the products pages.

Where are you stuck at? If its a specific problem, we can help you out. A general problem of "i need help with updating the information on the products pages" is too general for anyone to be of much help.

input fields. what other php code would i have to use so that i could accomplish this?

Google will be your friend for tutorials (and I think even phpbuilder has some tutorials). For what you're asking, I'd HIGHLY recommend finding a couple PHP books (either at your local bookstore or library). They'll explain the language and thought process behind the coding.
