php url not found

i have a url

http://server.net/m/./index.php

i get a url not found error

is there somthing i can add to my htaccess to fix this.

maybe changing that folder from "." into something with [FONT=arial]letters[/FONT]

I am not certain about this, but "." is a referance to the current folder. So
http://server.net/m/./index.php

Actually means
http://server.net/m/index.php

Infact IE (5.2 on Mac OSX) has automatically killed the "./" bit in your link even though the source has it in there!

Why are you trying to use that, why don't you just give the full URL? Surely you know it.

When you use only one period that has absolutely no affect on the URL. If you were to use "blabla/../something"  with the two periods, then that will take a step backwards and go to the blabla folder.
