Just kinda curious what languages everyone here knows and how long have they know each of them?
Me: HTML(w00t :p ) uhh first page I made was probably in 2001. PHP, I guess around sept. 2002, because that is when I registered here. C, started at the beginning of this year
Next on the list is Perl, then Java after I am well acquainted with C 🙂
Started probably in 2000/01 HTML which isnt a language but useful too know.
First language was QBasic thought it was great when i first started to easy. Then didnt really do anything for a year.
PHP been doing now for probably 2yrs now. Looked in Perl and without any knowledge fixed an entire Shopping Cart.
Next on the list is C/C++/Java/Python and probably finish up learning Perl properly. Actually that isnt in any particular order on when im going to learn them.. Just that i have all books for them.
I know English 🙂
PHP's the only language I could honestly say I "know". I've hacked around with C, C++, Java, Qbasic, Basic, whatever. Mostly just small changes to already existing things though. Started PHP August 2002. Two days after my first shot at the language, I signed up here.

Same, recently acquired books for Perl, Java, Javascript, C, C++, Networking, and PHP for almost nothing at all! Books that are normally $70(CAD), I got for $5-$15 each 🙂

Whoops, forgot to mention, I know that too.. kinda.. 😃
I know version 2.0 for that 😃
2.0? what millenium are you in man :p
anyways, i know PHP fairly well, along with minute amounts of C, Java, and Perl. I looked into pythona while ago, but never did anything with that.
VB, VBScript, ASP (yes, they are two seperate things), C, PHP (duh!!).
Oh, and HTML, CSS, XHTML
/me ducks
[edit]Ta moonglobe, I'd forgotten about them[/edit]
ASP isn't a language, so of course it's different from VBscript :p
o and i dont know HTML. only XHTML, XSL, and CSS 😉 (not that they're programming lanuages)
[edit] although wasn't there an argument for XSL?[/edit]
You'd be surprised how many people get the difference between ASP and VBScript muddled up.
Seems to me that the post topic is "languages" and not programing languages.
HTML Hyper Text Markup Language
English, PHP, Bash, HTML, Scotish (a little), Welsh (almost none really), Java (a little) Thanks Drawmack, I forgot a couple Javascript, SQL
In the order I learned them, begning in 1990
Basic, Clipper, Ada, HTML, JavaScript, Java, Perl, Lisp, ProLog, C, C++, MS Access (VBA), SQL, VB, Unix Script, ASP, PHP, CSS, XHTML

Hey, this is English 2.0 - in fact, probably more like 2.5.

Me not that up to date my version still has speeling errors, while your up to date version is strict on correct speeling.
Word up homie!
I use a homebrew version of English based off of the 2.3b release

I've since found this and this. Saves me time from having to come up with my own proof 🙂
In the order I learnt them: English, Hindi (minimal), French, HTML, CSS, Visual Basic (very minimal), JavaScript, PHP, Pascal (very minimal, never actually programmed in it), SQL (very minimal), Perl (very minimal, and fogot most of what I learnt), VRML (very minimal, never actually did anything with it), C++(few bits and scraps, never actually programmed in it)
Never knew I knew so many languages 😃
VRML strike ive heard that used everywhere, but what is it exactly it is some sort of cousin to XML?
remember, XML is used to write other markup languages. so VRML is language implemented in XML. so many people ge tthat confused (and that's a bad way of putting it but o well)
Well yes i remember, any good links on finding more information on it, tried google only got what it stands for.
