Glad to hear it. The reason I'm glad to hear it is that you have a choice of which SMTP server to use. You can use the local SMTP server that ships with Win2k, or set the SMTP setting under the [mail function] heading of the php.ini file to another hostname. Chances are that the php.ini file is still set to the default SMTP setting which is:
SMTP=localhost
If it is, then that means that the PHP interpreter is trying to access port 25 on the local system. In that case, check the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel to see if the SMTP server is installed. It would be under Windows Components using the "Details..." button when you select "Intenet Information Services" (the SMTP service on Windows is a component of IIS).
If you do not want to use the SMTP server on IIS, you can set the SMTP setting to another SMTP server hostname or IP address, like one at your office or your ISP if it allows relaying from your location.
