showing jpg and gifs in a directory?

i want to create a simple php page that will list all the images in a directory.

i dont want it to be thumbnailed.. just to look in a directory see whats there and show it on the php file

i want it to be done with .jpg .gif and .psd if thats possible?

If you cycle through the directory, and substr() the filenames to get the last three (or four for jpeg's) then if it fits - echo it out....

Or you can always look at strrchr() as well to get everythign after the last " . "
