PHP hang out without error by processing big res. images. Is there limit somewhere?

The image is about 350kb in 800x1200 resolution, script just stop working on function, which resize images. I was looking some setting in php info, which could cause it, but nothing found. Php uploads the image without problem, but resizing/resampling doesnt work with so big images.

All we can do is make wild guesses about things like script timeout limits or whatever.

Besides, you don't need to post the whole thing (and it would be counterproductive to do so), just the bit that's causing trouble - there's a comment in the General Board Guidelines in the Newbie's forum about cutting down the amount of code to just what's necessary to exhibit the problem.

The problem isnt in script timeout, I set it long enough and it never reached this time. But GD wont handle 350kb jpegs, which looks like max file size setting, because smaller files, even if they are in high resolution up to 1000x500 pixels, are processed with no doubts. This script works on other server without this problem, so I compared phpinfo of two servers but havent found the catch, so maybe is set somewhere else, thats what I ask for, maybe someone will know it.
