Insertion of text into a php file??

I recently changed shopping carts, and recieved an email from the cart people, saying that my product was ready for me to start adding my page designs to the seperate php files, in order to "customize" the look of the page and add my own personal touch to an otherwise bland looking cart.

I'd like to do this, but I am in the dart as to how to insert code in the files so that it not only comes up in the right position on the page, but that it also doesn't create a ton of parse errors because I put it in the wrong place. I would be greatful for any advise anyone can lend.. Thank you in advance.

It looks like they didnt provide an administration system to your shopping cart.

If you're going to bash through with PHP, then you'll just have to fix any errors that come up.

Conversely, it might be possible to ask for support in configuring the script(s).
