(3) Any way to develop tabbed GUI's in a browser?

Hi There,

I want to see if there's anything out there for developing tab-style interfaces in a browser that look more like a desktop application.

Good example is a Windows NT, XP, etc. system. Right click on "My Computer", then select properties. This small window -- are there any tools for developing something like this already out there?

Must be compatible with PHP/mySQL -- thanks.

You can make such an effect, though it being compatible with PHP/MySQL is irrelevant as it should be clientside, not serverside.

By this effect I mean some sort of tabbed interface using html and stylesheets, e.g. phpbuilder's own front page interface.

If you're talking about browser integration, then I'd say that's currently impossible, short of you controlling all the browsers in existence.
