2 server with diff network

hello there i would like to ask if this is possible.

using a 2 server with diff. network..

like sample the other server has a webserver and the other 1 is just connected to the computer with FTP or something needed just to upload files.

i dont know i this is possible..

i want to have a webserver running on a server 1 located at us and the other computer is located in the other state in us.

can php handle this kind of situation? i made ascript already to handle logins and upload.. but i dont know if i can make upload files directly to the other computer from the server 1.

Its not completely clear what you're asking, but if you are asking if its possible for server A to FTP files to server B, the answer would be yes IF server B has an FTP server installed and running.
