run script in cron every 2 seconds

is there a way i can configure my cron to run every second?

i wanna run my script every second but i dont know how to..

maybe someone here knows how pls help me..

I think the better question is why you want to run a cronjob every second...

well basically i created a script in php that will parse data from SMS gateway and why seconds bcoz if your doing something for SMS im sure it better to run it as fast as everys econd to check if you have a record on your server that will going to be parsed and stored into DB so that u can send a reply too as fast as it can to the SMS user.

well, to run it every second, you're bordering on running it constantly and just using [man]sleep[/man]. But then, I'm thinking anything running at that sort of interval, you should just write a daemon for. If you insist on cron, take a look at this page for a small trick to doing this without having to add a massive line into your crontab.
