but am very new to php

i was wanting to try to make a stock market parody

either way

i need to know where to start

on the main page i will want to display the different "stocks", their value pulled from external script depending what day it is, then compaire the value of today's vs yesterdays and decide which picture to show: up arrow or down, and amount of increase or decrease

i want the main page however to remain pretty skimpy on script and house the idependant funtions on their own pages of script

uggh im getting a headache trying to figure out how to do this lol
