[Resolved] Invalid Use Of Group Function

SELECT companyID, office, city, province, postal, count()
FROM remax
GROUP BY office, city, province, postal
HAVING count() > 1
ORDER BY count(*) DESC , postal, office

can anyone help me out here? im using MySQL version: 4.0.15-standard

im getting an error on my group by function

You're missing the companyID from the group by clause...

i also tried to find out what this error was but couldnt do it! that manual is horrible!

nevermind! here is what worked for me...in case anyone was wondering:

SELECT office, city, province, postal, count( * )
FROM remax
GROUP BY office, city, province, postal
HAVING count( * ) >1
ORDER BY count( * ) DESC , postal, office
