Exponentiation help ... again.

Afternoon,

Here's the formula in question:

$yeah = $tip * (1 - ($periodicIR / (1 + $periodicIR))) * (1 - (1 + $periodicIR / (1 - (1 + $periodicIR)^4))) + $periodicIR * $subtotal;

The part that I'm having a problem with is where is attempts to do an exponentiation (^4). Now ... I know that ^ doesn't perform exponentiation in PHP, as this is a formula coming from ASP.

The proper function to use is POW, but I'm just not sure how I would incorporate it into the formula.

Any help greatly appreciated.
