upload problem

I have apache 2.0.48, php 4.3.4 on my window XP.

When uploading a file i get this error :

unable to copy file from temporary server location into dir.

i have activate the global_service. But ill still have errors.
there is nothing wrong with the code when it is run on linux apache. Is there anything i need to set for the upload to work.

have you checked the permissions on the directory you are uploading too? they have to be set to Everyone can write to that directory.

in linux it would be permission: 666 or 777

in windows i think you just have to add the everyone user. ( not sure though )

Is it possible to that the mkdir would cause problem in the php.

i have seen that forum and the copy function works fine. but i need to make a new dir for every attachment in case of a same file name problem.
