Compile many PHP scripts in to a single .exe

Hi There,

I've written an appplication in PHP which contains about 100 scripts .

I want to distribute this and was wondering if I can compile all the scripts into a single executable, to make it easier and to stop people looking/changing the code.

I realise i would need additional software on the IIS/Php Server but am willing to do this.

Anyone know of a way to do this?

If preventing people looking at the source code is the primary goal, you might want to look at Zend Encoder. It converts the PHP source into human-unreadable bytecode scripts. You'll need the Zend Optimizer on the host machine to read those scripts, but you said that wouldn't be a problem; and besides, it means your scripts will run faster 🙂

Also, if you want to make an installer .exe, take a look at Nullsoft's (the same people that came up with Winamp) NSIS installer.
