question on the gd lib

is it possible to host the gd lib on another server, due to the fact that mine wont install it, they say it use to much of the processor.

say if i just want the script to run on the other (http://whatever.net) server and upload the files to my origianal one(datadink.net)

It's very, very possible to do that. It's one of the ways of getting round stubborn hosting companies :-P

Depending on how often you want these images processed, there are different techniques you can employ to get the job done. If you tell us exactly what you want to do, we can help you 🙂

cool i host a screen saver site for mobile file phones, i have an upload tool that i need to when the users upload a pic to my main host (http://mainhost.com) it will resize it for them and store it in the appropriate dir. SO now that my webhost wont installed the gd or image magic (they say there is a perl mod installed but i dont know much about that.......any questions on that one would be helpful)so i have to find a free host (http://freehost.net)with the gd lib to host the sent.php which does the uploading and resizing. but i need the upload to upload to the main host. its confusing bit confusing but i tried.
