Not sure i understand you completelly. Is the PHP version you are trying to install is from a RPM or not? You building from source ? If so, from which version of PHP. Got sablotron-0.98 or greater installed ? With or without Js support ?
Got a SRPM + RPM ready for PHP 4.3.5RC2 if you want it .. unfortunatelly, XSLT support aint in yet .. broken cuz of lousy JS support in Sablotron, which i must disable first.
Anyways, here are the complied in module of my custom distrib, all shared :

Ack!! I have NO idea how to do this, so any help, especially baby steps, would be appreciated!!!
I have linux 9 and am running a virtual private server. The PHP is installed as an RPM, I think it's version 4.2.3. The configuration is good, but I need to add in two things: --enable-xslt --with-xslt-sablot
I tried to install the standalone PHP (as opposed to RPM), but when I tried to install it I got a message that it couldn't find my cc & gcc paths. I can't remember the exact error messages. But I am really confused, I might be able to guess and say that those are installed as RPMs too, so that's why it didn't find them (???). In any case, I'm sure I couldn't manage to reconfigure the PHP RPM itself....

Thanks very much!!!!
