convert to jpg file ????????

hi guys!!

ok i dont know how to explain to u this situation but i will try my best to clear things for u guys.. because i myself is also in a pretty confused!!

I have an html table where i have insert a picture in to the background. I have layers going over that table and the layers also have some text and pictures.. so it looks like a greeting card...

now what i want is to convert this html greeting card in to a jpg file so i can email this as a jpg file and not as an html file...

pretty unusual haa...

can we do this in php???

if anyone knows how to do this or if someone has any idea about this plz share it with me...

I would really appreciate all the replies..

i'm not sure about your question but, if you are just looking for something that the recipient can't edit, one option may be to generate a pdf on the fly. you can do that with the HTML_ToPDF class.

First of all thanx for ur reply. But to tell u the truth i dont want to convert the html page into PDF..

i'll make this really simple for u guys!!!

What i want is to have a page that is purely design, as in an html file. As an example lets get a web page..

now what i want is to convert this html page in to a JPG file.

i'll brief u on what my program exactly does... I think then it would make more sense..

First i'll give my clients a design window (WYSIWYG editor) to design their own cards. then after submitting that card i would generate an html file. then i will email the design back to him..

but now eventhough i generate an html file i dont want to email him the html file. Instead what i want is convert that html file in to a jpg file and email him the jpg file...

so i`m really stuck with the converting and thats where i need ur help...

hope u guys undestand what i`m saying and waiting for a speedy reply...

I'm pretty sure you can not convert regular html into a picture with PHP. At least that I know of. Might be another way around it though. But I am tired and can't think right now.
