need to create an installer

i have created my own cms but now i need to create an installer for it.

1.enter database details
2.connect to database, create it if its not ther
3.add the tables
4.setup an admin account
5.finish(music delete install.php to continue)

how would i go about doing this, never created an installer before or anything like it.

a tutorial would be even better

any help appreciated

Hi Mike

The following event manager basically does the same kind of thing that you want to do (http://www.ikemcg.com/scripts/pec/index.html) - but only manually. You load the files up to your website, type in the details in the config file and then do some clicking.

If you want an Installer such as is created by Install Shield, I can't help you.
