I'm planning on writing my own portal with user profiles and stuff.
The first thing that i need is authorizing, i guess that i can write my own authorizing system, but maybe there is some freeware solution for this. I was thinking of some file that i can include in my header.php file, that will just see if session is registred and show input fields for username and password if not and users name if it is registred, if somebody could link me up with such script that would be cool.
