[Resolved] ARRAY in my process page..not in include

am processing a form...form A does an include to process in page B, page B if it detects a validation error adds a value to array $errors.

I know the added error to the array works as I did a print_r on in page B. But when page B does the include back to the origininating form A, array $error print_r shows nothing.

I did not realize that my $error array would not be in scope in the include. I then changed the $error to $_POST and it worked fine. So, creating an array is not carried over to an include?

i think you are doing it in wrong order:

// form A
if(isset($submitA)) {
  include("b.php");
   // b.php
   $errors = array(); 
   if(1!=1) {
       $array_push($errors,$yourError);
    }
   if(count($errors) > 0) {
       /// goes back to A not including B??
   }
}

so maybe correct (you didn't sent any example code) way is :
//
if(isset($submitA)) {
// generate error array
}
// form A
if(isset($submitA)) {
if(count($error) > 0) {
echo "ERRORS";
} else {
// do stuff

}
}

My problem is a perfect example of when to stop and do something else. This morning, when I worked with this page to recreate the problem so as to give you the exact code. It worked, maybe I didn't refresh the page.

I am sorry that I took up your time with this. I am using array's for the first time, had been using variable variables but another kind soul in this forum said I should be using arrray's.

Not to worry, I will be back with more ?'s...
