Php doesn't turn the form into variables!

Ok, I have a form and I use the get method, so I know it sent it. For some reason if I try to echo that variable (yes I spelled check) it says:

Notice: Undefined variable... for both of them, what is wrong? I don't think it's my coding. I'm pretty sure it's my settings, but

I don't know how to change that. Is there some fool proof way to make php grab those into variables (I want t more adaptive to diffrent servers). HELP ME!

make sure that register_globals in php.ini is set to 'On'

Instead it would be nice to suggest using $GET / $POST .

what is $get/$post? any way I got it to work, globals wasn't on, thanks.
