search data base help

This is my problem

1.....I have a msql data base

2.....A user can reg to the data base
3.....Once they reg they then can post pic to the data base

Now what i want is how to code a php script to look for all users who have NOT posted any pic to the data base and delete them

layout of data base is

Favorites_link

Form_to_Email_log

Mailing_Lists_idx

Mailing_Lists_list

Mailing_Lists_log

Mailing_Lists_pending
Reviews_data
ad
admin
admin_login

banned_ip

category

expense

hw_settings

modules
payment_log
payment_pending

In yout table make a field called pic (NOT NULL) and when they post a pic it will set that to yes. Then you can do something like:

$sql = mysql_query("DELETE FROM table WHERE pic='' ");

Well....what field are you storing the pics in?

$var = "name"; //your field name
$sql = mysql_query("DELETE FROM table WHERE ($var='' || $var ='NULL')");
if(!$sql)
{
echo "I'm sorry there was an error in your query.";
}
else
{
$rows = mysql_affected_rows();
echo "Congratulations, there was $rows user(s) deleted from the database.";
}

It is up to you to figure out the rest.

So use something like...


$sql = mysql_query("DELETE FROM ad WHERE (images='' || images ='NULL')"); 
if(!$sql) 
{ 
echo "I'm sorry there was an error in your query."; 
} 
else 
{ 
$rows = mysql_affected_rows(); 
echo "Congratulations, there was $rows user(s) deleted from the database."; 
}

You should be able to take it and fix it to what you have in your database now.
