What I am trying to do is create a drop down form to select dates for articles. Here is the mysql table that holds the articles:
Table fields:
id - int(11), auto increment
timestamp - datetime
news - text

What I am trying to do is create a form with two drop down menus, one that will hold the month and one the year.
Now if the user selects 2004 in the year dropdown, for the month dropdown, I'd only like to display the months that are available for 2004 in the database (in this example it is january and february, and may), is this possible?
