table backround

Can someone tell me why my dynamic backround picture is not showing up, I echoed the $backround and it is right. it is just not putting it in the table backround.

Well what is the value of $background? Could you post a little more code? Perhaps try:

try putting $background into an image below the table and see if it comes up with a broken image.

Well that link he gave is the value of $background, and for me it gives a 404 Error - Page Not Found.

The link is just an example, the image showes up, I was just telling you guys what format it comes in.

try putting quotes around the background

also does the table have data in it? If it is an empty table the table may be getting truncated by the browser.
