Really, what is there in wales to conquer? tens of thousands of sheep, a mountain and (at the right time of year) the radio 1 roadshow.

In france we have wine, champagne, beautiful women and the alps.

I spent a lunchtime on this when I was at varsity. I got the game then, but it was days before I figured out what the name had to do with it.

I spent half an hour reading the Bill Gates story (while reading slashdot news) and I went to try the javascript version
Took me 10 rolls and a coffee making break to have the flash of genius.
Actually, had I not stopped to go make coffee, I probably wouldn't have found the solution.

heh took me 3 tries, a short break of reading more about the game on the website there, and then 3 tries which were all correct after that before I posted 😉

The trick would be to try to conceal how the answers are calculated if you release the code. Looked at the javascript code this morning, and it'd be real easy to figure it out looking at that. Maybe I'll scratch together a couple lines of code to see what I can come up with...
