is there a way that I can test my php scripts w/o uploading them onto my site?

I just wanted to know if there was a way that I could test my php pages w/o having to upload them onto my site.

Also is there any good free hosts that support php? (doesn't have to have MySQL) the one i currently used just deleted my account and won't let me make a new one (da*n t35.com). and I can't use host ultra because I already made a clan site with them and you can only have one account per IP address. I don't care about adds because this is just a storage place because i've had a few places that said they might already host me, they just need ta see stuff. But ya, any place with over 50megs of space.

I know this probably isn't the place to ask these questions but any help would be great.

That's what I use, along with PostCast SMTP for checkin mail functions. So far so good 🙂

As for server space, http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/ should have at least one.

I use xampp for dev environment on my puter. You can find it as a free download at http://sourceforge.net. Just do a search for it and it will come up. It has an installer that does all the configuration for you and inlcudes php/mysql/cgi-bin/perl etc etc. I have had no problems with it.

I'm with lowestcosthost.com and the rates are excellent.
