what is a php?

i know this sounds like a really dumb question, but what exactly is a php forum and how can i make one?

PHP forum is like this one, where you can post and discuss things, etc.

If you want to make one, it's really, really hard for someone who doesn't even know what one is 😉

I'd suggest reading up on things first; I don't want to discourage you, but instead, keep you from discouraging yourself when you begin working on your very own PHP forum 🙂

You are better off downloading a premade package like phpbb or invision board.

I would highly advise against trying to make your own forum for the time being. They have a lot more files and go waaaay more in depth than it sounds like you are ready for.
