Get data from other sites/databases ?

Hello,

I have a question.

Is it possible to make a PHP script, which searches different
web pages.

For example:
On my internet site you'll fill in:
Car brand:
Type:
Max Price:
Min Price:

You'll press the submit button.
This button would send this information to 4 sites with car's in it.
And all results would be shown on my web site.

I know it is possible, if you save the source of a website on your server, you can still get data from the server where you got the source file from. But is this also
possible to fill in 1 form and get data from 4 different servers?
They all use different variables for "car brand" "type" etc.

If it is possible, where can I get more information how to create this?

It's possible, but you'll probably be breaking every one of those car site's TOS's. You can search the forums for code though.

This is true, not avisable and I personally wouldn't allow somebody to do it from my site. You could get in trouble simply for using some of their bandwidth to do it.
