Where could I go to look for programmers for a script?

I am not an idiot and have happily read the rule that Job Offers are forbid. So I am asking you guys where do you think I could find some good programmers to help develop with me.

Paid and Nonpaid.

hmmm i was going to say not here... but now im not so sure. some people might be able to work for free just for fun... you may find peolpe in your area who will work for pay. i wok alone, so i can't help you, but some of the others here probably can.

Why take a look at Hotscripts? I can normally find what I'm looking for there (usually for free), or you could take something thats free and develop it yourself. Also Sourceforge

No im not looking for a script.

Im looking for developers to help ME develop a script since its a big job and would be much easier if there were more devs.

Well, if you plan to sell it, you need to pay your developers and not even be looking for free help at all IMO.

I am designing a program from scratch myself and found SourceForge a good place for that. But even there, the volunteer help has been scarce and the ones that did help, did a little and disappeared. One even had ideas about wanting to sell my program and when I bucked it, they disappeared too, lol.

You might as well learn the languages and get it over with, lol. I have found that to be my solution. This way I can be sure the program is doing "exactly" what I want it to do. Will it take longer to finish? Oh Yeah, lol! Will it be worth it? Absolutely!

Just my thoughts...............

Well there are other scripts I plan on NOT selling.

Also, I do know the languages and DO do them for a living.
