downloading trailers

I need to be able to store trailers to my directory and then call upon them from there, so the viewer can view the trailer. I know I can do it by directing the url to another site that has the trailer but I don’t want to be dependent on another site. So I would prefer to be able to download the trailer itself. I have been researching on the internet and I can not seem to find anywhere that lets you download recent realised movies. Can anyone help me with this? Direct me to a suitable site?

Yeah, it seems everyone is going to streaming.

I was looking for a similar solution not to long ago.

I ran across this link: http://www.videolan.org/

It claims to be able to download streaming video. I didn't have any luck though. Give it a shot and let me know.
