[Resolved] MySQL - Sorting by month in date field (yyyy-mm-dd)

Hi,

I am trying to find out how to sort my results from a date field (yyyy-mm-dd) by month, and, optionally, just output the month and day.

Is this possible using a query or do I have to put everything in an array and sort it there?

You can use a query. Look in the mysql manual for month() or date_format()
