What was the last album you got?

My iTunes is racked up at the mo with Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Mansun, Paul Weller, Radiohead and Led Zep. Plus thanks to this post I've just dragged a couple of Muse tracks into the playlist.....

Last album was Puddle of Mud. Paid for it.

I've just realised that at 28 I'm officially old, an ex told me I listened to "Dad music" - I think she might have been right! 😉

Simon and Garfunkle "sitting at a railway station....." that line was penned at Hunts Cross near Liverpool and only a few miles from where I'm sat now.

Having lived in Scarborough for a year I can say the song over sells the annual fayre........ Are you going to Scarborough fayre? I'll pass thanks!

Unheard of stuff, this has got to be worth checking out it's one guy who does the whole lot himself.....

Don't really ever download stuff; I'm kinda anti-piracy, and I can hear the shortcomings of MP3s.... which is why I store my backups as FLAC, and stream as OGG 😃

Has anyone heard DJ Yoda's cut and paste album? Thats supposed to be excellent, but I haven't been able to find it yet (admittedly not looked hard)

Ad I thoroughly recommend downloading SlimServer. Is written for the slimp3 but it will stream to any mp3 player. Is excellent!!

Album: Fear of Music or Stop Making Sense or Sand in the Vaseline compilation...

I love that band so much. David has a new album on March 16th I believe it is...and it was recently revealed by Chris (drummer) that The Name of this Band is Talking Heads will FINALLY be re-issued soon on cd (I've only been waiting about 12 years now that I think back about this)...

what were the last gigs people went to then?

mine was yes in nottingham, stunning, very purple but very good, when they were doing the homeworld tour

before that was ocean colour scene, that has got to be the most dull and boring gig i have even been to

still both gigs were free so i shouldn't grumble
