Regular Expressions

Hi,
I am just starting with regular expressions and having a bit of trouble. I want to validate an Australian area code.
An example is (02).
The area code is enclosed by brackets and is either (02) (03) (07) or (08).

Would somebody be able to help me to use regular expression to find this.

Why do you need regular epressions for that? If there's only four choices, stick them in an array, and use [man]in_array[/man] to check..
