merge arrays

i have two arrays

array1:

id, color, size, shape
1, blue, 4, circle
2, green, 6, oval
3, red, 3, square

array2: (fid is id in prev table)

id, fid, desc
1, 1, desc1
2, 1, desc2
3, 2, desc3
4, 1, desc4

I want to merge the array into 1 array (kinda like inner join)
do i have to parse through each array and create my own or is there some quick array function or trik that does this??

result array:

id, color, size, shape, desc
1, blue, 4, circle, desc1
2, blue, 4, circle, desc2
3, green, 6, oval, desc3
4, blue, 4, circle, desc4

I should use two nested for loops. Use the counter fromn the first to select the values from the second array.
