dopdown populate from db

hi! i need to know is the is a way for me to populate dropdown from db. you see, i got three dropdown. value for dropdown 1 is defined by me which are ras num, rc and position. whatever value choose from the first dropdown will determined the next value for the secod dropdown. each value for the from the first dropdown will came from db. like if i choose ras num, the second dropdown will show all ras num from db. the third dropdown also defined by me, so there's no problem with that.

can anybody help me with this? thanks in advance

do this to get results from DB into a dropdown box

which dropdown that you meant? there are three...

you said two of them are defined by you, so this would be for the one that isn't that you need to be populated by the database

sorry, i'm a bit blur. i did understand about the dropdown. if i want the second dropdown to change according to the first dropdown, how do i do it? i'd tried onChange() but i thinks it's for javascript only. is it?
