Making Images

INTRO
Okie .. i am making this contact book , which is pulling contact information from mysql database and printing it out.I got it to work and all but the interface was very simple.SO now i made this Image of an ID card.I can pull the data from the database and write it on the id card image which looks real cool

NOW THE PROBLEM STARTS
The database has image names on it . liek every guys image and i want the image of the person to show up on the ID card in the corner.Unlike writing text on the background i have no clue how to put an Image ( persons pic) On top of ther other image ( ID CARD TEMPLATE )

ImageTTFText surely wont work here ...lol.. WHAT DO I DO ?

You can place images on top of each other with the GDD functions. Takes some work, but it shoud work.

Another option would be use "absolute" positioned DIVs with some "fancy" CSS. The "z-index" option can be helpful, as long as you know old browsers will not display it properly.

[man]imagecopyresampled[/man] (or [man]imagecopyresized[/man] if you're using a version of GD <2.0) will do what you want.
