Help with code

Ok I have this, which works fine:

$objApp = new COM("Outlook.Application");
$myItem = $objApp->CreateItem(olMailItem);
$a=$myItem->Recipients->Add("Single Email Here");
$myItem->Subject="Subject of Email Here";
$myItem->Body="Text of Body Here";
$myItem->Display();

Question, how can I enter multiple email address in the "BCC" field in outlook? I've tried several things, but nothing works.

ummm, the code works perfectly as is. I just want to be able to send it to multiple people using "bcc"...

per this... i would bet the way to BCC is to:

$objApp = new COM("Outlook.Application"); 
$myItem = $objApp->CreateItem(olMailItem); 
$a=$myItem->Recipients->Add("Single Email Here"); 
$myItem->Recipient.Type('olBCC');
$myItem->Subject="Subject of Email Here"; 
$myItem->Body="Text of Body Here"; 
$myItem->Display();

i tried finding the correct TYPE setting... per that page...

myRecipient.Type = olCC
is used to CC someone using COM outlook access

eh just found it... olBCC Is right...

Recipient (of MailItem) Can be one of the following OlMailRecipientType constants: olBCC(3), olCC(2), olOriginator(0), or olTo(1).
Read/write Long.

After trying your suggestion, thank you by the way, I finally figured it out:

$myItem->BCC=$email_list;

Works like a charm!

It's funny how you would never guess it's so simple...

I really wish there was some sort of guide for how to use com with outlook and php. It's one thing in vb but totally different when php is calling it.

Now I just have to figure out how to attach a file with php, but for now I'll just use outlook because the email is open anyhow... 🙂
