I'm writing a simple journalling tool for a few friends, and want them to be able to use http://www.neverever.co.uk/myname to access their journal.
Clearly, mod_rewrite is the way to go, and I've made a start...
RewriteRule ^dom([/]?)(.*)$ journal/dom/$2
The next stage is to automate these rules, without knocking out my current folders, so that http://www.neverever.co.uk/design does not go to http://www.neverever.co.uk/journal/design.
I'm guessing the way to go about this is RewriteMap, but a quick google didn't yield any simple explanations. Any ideas?
