Sorting by alpha + number in select

I am trying to figure out a way to sort a db selection query in the following manner. Say for instance you have this:

Placement #1
Placement #10
Placement #2

And you want your query to come out like this:

Placement #1
Placement #2
Placement #10

How would you do that?

ORDER BY RIGHT(columnname, 2) ASC

should work 😉
